Today’s my last commute to Atlantic City before I get my place in Brigantine.
Some people think its insane that I’m paying $1000+ a month in rentas well as leasing my new house while still locked into a lease in Glassboro.
That’s not insane though. Insane is living in Glassboro when I can live here (see photo). Insane is spending 10-12 hours a week driving to and from work at night and the early hours of the morning. Insane is spending $100 in tolls a month. Insane is refilling your Gas Tank every 3 days at $50 a clip (not a typo).

Similar to Randy’s capture of Quail Hill, I made this a year ago last week. Its hard to beieve that in 4 days I’ll be moving out of Glassboro for good.
I pretty much have a story about each house, apartment, sidewalk and court yard in the town. I spent a few nights the past few weeks hanging with the younger guys, and it has done nothing but prove to me that its time to get out.
It may not be the end of school, but it’s the end of college life.

My window was cracked and I smelled smoke. Reminds me of my teens. I would do anything to go back to my 16th birthday and start over from there. It was the summer before I started my first job, first year of Black Shirts, the summer before a year of Punk shows in firehouses, the summer before haimowitz went to college, it was the summer when Tim and I started haning out. If I could start over from there, I would have alot less regrets in life. I’m still playing catch up from 8 years ago.
Heres to Fire fighting at Quail Hill.

Coming Soon to Brigantine

I sign the lease to my new place on tuesday. It’s the bottom of a duplex in Brigantine, two blocks off the beach. To be honest I’ve forgotten some of the details of what the place looks like. It’s two bedrooms, a big kitchen, a front porch and a patio in the back with a decent sized yard for a shore property. There’s a living room, and I forget whether there is a dining room, or whether there is space in the kitchen for a table.
I’ve got an open invitation out to all my friends, so feel free to give me a call and drop by.
